Tate McRae Live In Minneapolis

There isn't a better way to spend a Monday night than being at the legendary First Avenue soaking in good music. Well, spending the evening at First Avenue with Tate McRae putting on a spectacular sold-out show is pretty much as good as it gets.

From the moment Tate took the stage with "stupid," the opening track to her 2020 EP, "all the things i never said" the crowd went crazy. Following were "r u ok," "happy face," and "all my friends are fake." There wasn't a single lyric that the crowd missed singing along to.

Not only did Tate's soft and dreamy vocals shine throughout the entire set and her outfit was stunning, but her choreography made her stage presence radiate. The crowd didn't take their eyes off the stage from the opening track to the last. The connection she has with her fans is undeniable and it was evident throughout her entire set in Minneapolis. Tate is a literal pop STAR and she deserves all of it.

Highlights of the night include the performance of "that way" and "feel like shit." Halfway through the set Tate also played "wish i loved you in the 90s" from her 2021 EP, "TOO YOUNG TO BE SAD" which was a crowd-pleaser. She also performed a unique beautiful cover of The Script's song, "Breakeven." Of course, the final tracks of the night were the most awaited. She wrapped up the set with her popular tracks, "she's all i wanna be," and "you broke me first."

It wouldn't come as a surprise if the next time Tate comes through Minneapolis she plays a venue twice the size of First Ave. With her talent, infectious stage presence, and adorable personality it's impossible not to be a fan.
