Few staple bands from the early 2000's are still kicking it the way they used to be, or even better. The Wombats are though. It's hard to believe their debut album came out in 2007 already 15 years ago. That album holding singles like 'Kill the Director' that would influence twee culture that would shape Tumblr eras for years to come. Yes, 15 years later The Wombats are still evolving, putting out music, touring, and remaining unproblematic. All while pursuing solo projects and raising kids. Fifteen years after the fact, they are still garnering audiences and getting everyone off their feet to 'Techno Fan'
