Canadian indie-pop band Valley has released their new EP 'Last Birthday,' and it is seven tracks full of love that you can't help but keep on repeat.
Out of the seven tracks, four are previously released singles including, "Like 1999," "SOCIETY," "Tempo", and "Oh shit...are we in love?" The remaining new tunes are "Can We Make It (Jim Carrey)," "Cure," and "ain't my girl."
The band has released a video for "Cure," and it's quite entertaining as it takes place in the back of an ambulance and the band attempts to "cure" instruments. There is even a little CPR on the drum action. The song itself cures you, which isn't a surprise because the majority of their music always seems to make your mood better.
Valley has a way of making you completely dive into their music. Once you press play it's almost as if you're put into a trance. Valley's music makes you feel like you're inside the end credit of your favorite 2000s teen movie, and it's a great feeling. The refreshing and upbeat vibes the band creates through their music are unmatchable.
Valley is soon embarking on a North American tour with COIN. Check our tour dates here.
Overall, Valley's 'Last Birthday' is full of banger after banger, and you can't help but fall in love.
