Bleachers at The Fillmore Minneapolis

Bleachers brought a night full of great music and energy to Minneapolis on Tuesday evening. From the moment they took the stage with “91”, the opening track to their 2021 album Take the Sadness Out of Saturday Night, the crowd couldn’t look away.

Following was the popular bop, “Let’s Get Married” which had everybody’s hearts exploding from the first note. Bleachers did an incredible job at mixing up the tunes from their 2021 album and those from past albums. The 6th song of the night was “I Miss Those Days” and “Everybody Lost Somebody” followed, both from the band’s 2017 album, Gone Now.

Halfway through the set the band played a cover of The Waterboys‘ “The Whole of the Moon” which was so beautiful and really showcased the band’s instrumental talents.

Highlights from the night include “Chinatown“ from the band’s 2021 album,

“Goodmorning“ from their 2017 album, and “I Wanna Get Better” and “Rollercoaster” from their 2014 album.

Bleachers closed up the night with two well-loved tracks including “Don’t Take the Money” and “Stop Making This Hurt.”

Not going to lie, my heart ached a bit when I realized the band didn’t play “Wild Heart“ because that song takes me into another dimension, but I get it, they had to make room for the new tunes.

Overall, Bleachers puts on one incredible show and you don’t want to miss out on the chance to see them live. Check out their tour dates here.
